The truth is that TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 Reverb offers access to a huge amount of different tones. It’s not overly expensive and it’s extremely functional, so it’s not surprising that so many people love it. Undoubtedly, it’s worth every cent!

Let’s dive deeper with research to find out what exactly makes this guitar pedal so good and popular. Firstly, we’ll have a look at the specs and the main functions of that effect. We’ll also investigate if it has any potential flaws. Of course, the sound demo will be included as well, so you’ll be able to hear how it sounds!

Specs & Pricing

TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 is one of the most popular reverb pedals in the world. It’s packed with a lot of different sounds, so it’s designed for the most demanding guitarists out there.

What makes it so special? Well, the pedal features 8 different reverb types: Room, Hall, Spring, Plate, Church, Shimmer, Mod and Lofi. As you can imagine, that gives you a lot of tonal possibilites! In addition, the pedal also has three slots that you can use to load up different presets from the TonePrint app.

What’s interesting, the manufacturer also equipped this pedal with a pressure sensitive mash footswitch which can be used as an expression pedal. This is a big advantage, especially for those who like performing live.

When it comes to pricing, it’s not the cheapest pedal in the world, but it’s definitely within reach of any guitarist. In fact, it’s one of the most versatile and most versatile reverb pedals that you can possibly find on the market.

Here’s the sound demo – feel free to check it out below.

Who Is It For?

TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 is suitable for both amateur and more advanced guitar players. It will work perfectly fine as your first reverb pedal, although it can be also efficiently used during live gigs.

As I said before, it’s an extremely versatile reverb pedal. Thanks to the various types of reverb, the Hall Of Fame 2 can be used in pretty much all genres of music. Whether you’re into blues, rock, country or indie – this pedal won’t disappoint you.

It is also worth mentioning that this is a pretty affordable effect as well. Although it’s not the cheapest reverb pedal in the world, it’s definitely the most versatile reverb pedal at this price level. It will be really tough to beat it!

Overall, TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 is a fantastic guitar pedal. It sounds great and it’s not too expensive – isn’t it all that really matters?

Here’s an another sound demo.

Would I Take It?

Yes, absolutely! Like I said before, it’s one of the most versatile reverb pedals that are available at this price level. I would be really happy to use it as my main effect of this type.

The only reason why I’m not using it is the fact that I’m a big fan and frequent user of Strymon pedals. This manufacturer makes some of the best pedals in the world, but the main disadvantage of their gear is that it’s really expensive.

That being said, if you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new reverb pedal, the Hall Of Fame 2 will be more than enough for you. It will exceed your expectations. But if you’re searching for something ever better, check out Strymon Big Sky or Blue Sky.

TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 Mini

What’s interesting, TC Electronic manufactures an another version of this pedal – Hall Of Fame 2 Mini.

It’s a bit more expensive than the original Hall Of Fame 2, but it features a much smaller construction and simpler design. It’s really easy to use and it will fit inside of any pedalboard, so if you don’t have too much space – you should definitely check it out.

Of course, it’s also really versatile and it gives you access to a huge amount of different reverb tones!

Are There Any Alternatives?

If you don’t like the sound of TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2, that’s totally fine! The market is full of other really good reverb pedals. Of course, it all depends on what type of reverb you’re searching for and how much are you willing to spend.

Here’s a few more pedals that I recommend checking out.

Firstly, if you’re searching for your first reverb pedal, you can check out TC Electronic Skysurfer Reverb. It’s a bit cheaper option than the Hall Of Fame 2 and it’s not that versatile, but it still offers a great quality. This effect offers three different types of reverb and a really simple interface, so it’s perfect for all the beginners.

Alternatively, you can also check out the Fender Marine Layer Reverb. It’s actually one of my absolute favorites! I’ve been using it very frequently during rehearsals and live gigs with my band and it always worked very well. What’s important, it’s also built like a brick, so it’s a really durable effect.

If you’re looking for the best reverb pedal that you can possibly find and you don’t care about your budget, check out one of the pedals made by Strymon (either Big Sky, Blue Sky or Night Sky). These pedals are not cheap, but they’re designed mainly for professional guitarists who make a living with music.

But like I said before, TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 has everything that you potentially need from a reverb pedal. Considering how versatile and inexpensive it is, it’s definitely worth the money. That’s why choosing it is always a good idea!

Summary

As you can see, TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2 is a really good sounding and highly functional reverb pedal. No matter how advanced you are as a guitar player, you will definitely enjoy using that famous effect. That’s a fact!
