Although in my opinion this Squier is one of the best options that you can potentially find, here’s a few more recommendations based on my experience.
Firstly, I highly encourage you to check out the Squier Bronco Bass. This is one of the cheapest bass guitars offered by Squier and it offers a surprisingly good quality. It’s a perfect choice for beginners – especially teenagers. The guitar has a shorter scale length (30″), which makes playing really easy. Great choice for the money!
Alternatively, you can also check out the Ibanez Talman TMB100. This is an another popular bass among the beginners, although I think that even more advanced players will appreciate the high quality of that model. It sounds great and it’s not too expensive – isn’t that cool?
Additionally, there’s also the Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Bass. There are two versions of that guitar – ’60s and ’70s. Both of them are equally amazing, so I highly encourage you to check them out.
