Undoubtedly, it will be more than enough for both beginner and more advanced players. What’s important, there are also larger versions available if you’re looking for something with more power. The controls are very simple to use and in addition, there are even included effects: delay and reverb. If you decide to choose that one, you won’t be disappointed. The following amp features 15 watts of unique tone, a custom Celestion speaker and really effective volume, reverb, bass, treble and gain controls. Undoubtedly, this VOX deserves to be included on the ‘Best Reggae Guitar Amp’ list. You will be able to achieve to a lot of great tones on that gear! Nevertheless, it is not that cheap. On the other hand, you can be sure that the attention to detail will be amazing, since with higher price comes better quality. Absolutely amazing amp with over 60 years of history!

For those who don’t know, Peavey is one of the largest manufacturers of musical gear in the world. I had a chance to use some of their gear on my own and I have to admit that I was always impressed by the overall quality of their products. On top of that, their amps are really affordable. The following model mentioned above features 100 Watts, a Blue Marvel speaker, footswitchable channels and reverb with level controls. Certainly, this amp is really powerful. It will be great for using live during reggae gigs! You can also use it at home to practice, but be careful – it can get very loud. Unless your neighbors enjoy reggae as much as you, make sure to adjust the volume knob of that Peavey while practicing!

Fender ’65 Twin Reverb – Best Reggae Guitar Amp

In my opinion, this is the best guitar amp for reggae music. It has absolutely everything you need for that genre and it’s a model popular among professional musicians. Nevertheless, it’s expensive. I do not recommend choosing that amp for people who are just starting, but if you’ve been playing for a while now and you’re looking for the best gear on the market, this Twin Reverb will be the perfect choice. The clean sound on this amp is just remarkable. Bear in mind that it’s recommended by the most famous guitarists in the world, such as Jack White, Steve Jones or Peter Green. In terms of appearance, Peavey Classic has a really cool tweed covering with chrome-plated controls. Affordable price, amazing clean tone and exceptional look – who needs anything else? Undoubtedly, this is one of the best amps within that price range.

Marshall DSL Series

Last amp on my list is another legendary model, this time by Marshall. Some of you may recognize that Marshall amps are often used for more distorted sounds in rock and metal genres. Yes – that’s true. Nevertheless, the DSL Series is really versatile. The clean tone on the following amp sounds absolutely amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending it for reggae players. On top of that, it’s pretty affordable. If you compare it with other amps, it may not look as the best reggae guitar amp, but within this price level it deserves a lot of attention. Reggae music features a lot of clean sounds and different strumming techniques.
