Harley Benton JA-60 is one of the best and most affordable offset electric guitars manufactured by this popular brand. It’s cheap, but it doesn’t sound or feel cheap at all – and that’s why I love it!
The guitar features a basswood body and a vintage caramelized Canadian maple neck with an easy-playing laurel fingerboard. The C-shaped neck is a huge advantage of that model, because it allows you to practice for several hours without getting tired. Additionally, the satin finish on the back enhances the overall comfortability too.
It is also worth mentioning that the manufacturer decided to equip that model with a pair of Roswell vintage-style Alnico-5 JM single coils. Both of these pickups sound really good, they have that legendary Jazzmaster tone. It’s bright, but it’s not too bright, so it can be used for a lot of different styles of music.
Who is it for? Well, I’m sure that both amateur and more intermediate players will be really satisfied with the overall quality of the JA-60 model. In my opinion, it can easily compete with some of the most expensive offset Squiers.

2. Harley Benton ST-20 HSS
The ST-20 HSS is one of the cheapest and the most popular guitars sold by this brand. It offers a surprisingly good value for the money, so it’s not surprising that so many guitarists decide to choose it for themselves.
The guitar features a lightweight basswood body and a comfortable maple neck with a smooth Amaranth fingerboard. The Modern C Shape of that neck guarantees a fantastic playing experience and it’s perfect for lovers of fast solos.
What’s important, Harley Benton equipped that model with a really unique pickup setting: HSS. Having one humbucker on the bridge position and two single-coils in the middle and neck positions gives you access to a lot of fantastic tones. It’s a perfect choice for rock and metal!
It is also worth mentioning that the ST-20 HSS model looks absolutely beautiful from the outside too. There’s something really unique about that black solid body with black hardware and a black matching headstock. It certainly looks like a much more expensive guitar.

3. Harley Benton TE-52
The famous TE-52 is one of the best and most popular Fender Telecaster copies that you can currently find on the market. It’s available at a really low price and it can definitely compete with some of the most expensive Teles made by Squier.
What makes it so cool? Well, the TE-52 features a solid ash body and a caramelized maple neck with an easy-playing caramelized maple fingerboard. The quality of these woods is really high, so this axe certainly looks and feels like a real Tele. Additionally, the guitar also has the Kluson-style machine heads which significantly increase the tuning stability.

It is also worth mentioning that the Fusion III HSH model features a really interesting pickup setting: HSH. Harley Benton equipped that model with two Roswell HAF AlNiCo-5 humbuckers and one Roswell S74-C BK AlNiCo-5 single coil. As you can imagine, it’s an extremely versatile instrument!
