1. Post Malone – Circles

One of the biggest hits by Post Malone. I’m sure that you all heard it on the radio at some point! The song is perfect for beginners – it features a simple melody and a beautiful chord progression. I think that it’s a great tune to practice your strumming skills. The lesson above explains everything in detail – I highly recommend checking it out.

2. Post Malone – Sunflower

Another super easy Post Malone song to play on your acoustic guitar. Again, it features a few basic chords and a really simple strumming pattern. The lesson above is really quick, but trust me – it’s one of the simplest tracks of this artist that you could possibly choose to learn. Fun and easy to play – who needs anything else?

3. Post Malone – Feeling Whitney

One of my favorite songs by Post Malone. In general, it’s fairly easy to play, but it can be challenging for beginners. Why? Well, this tune is a bit different from the rest. Instead of strumming, this track features a classic fingerpicking pattern. I think that learning it will be extremely beneficial for any guitarist, because it’s used in a wide range of songs. Once you get to know how to play it, you’ll be able to play a lot of folk songs! In addition, this song proves that Post Malone is a really interesting artist who doesn’t belong to only one genre.

4. Post Malone – I Fall Apart

If you like sad songs about a heartbreak, this tune will be perfect for you! ‘I Fall Apart’ is one of the biggest hits by Post Malone and it comes from his debut album Stoney (2016). The track is really simple to play and it features just a few basic chords. Undoubtedly, you’ll be able to learn this tune very quickly.

5. Post Malone – Hollywood’s Bleeding

Hollywood’s Bleeding is the opening and title track of Post Malone’s latest album from 2019. Although you can play this song in a few different ways, I highly recommend checking out the lesson above. This simple fingerstyle version is a great example of a song that is easy to play and sounds awesome at the same time. I think that it will be perfect for beginners who want to dive deeper into fingerstyle playing.

6. Post Malone – Better Now

Easy and fun – that’s how you can describe playing Better Now by Post Malone. Although this lesson doesn’t really explain how to play the melody, feel free to improvise. You’ll see that it’s just a few simple chords and notes – but it’s so catchy at the same time! Great choice for all-level players out there.

7. Post Malone – Rockstar

Rockstar is another example of a cool and easy song to play on your acoustic guitar. In addition, I highly recommend checking out other lessons on the channel above (The Groovy Guitar Dude). He has hundreds of different lessons on his channel, so even if you learn only a few of them, you’ll definitely be able to extend your abilities. He did a fantastic job with this simple song and I’m sure that you’re going to love it!

8. Post Malone – White Iverson

You basically need just two chords to play this song – C-major and G-major. The song is extremely easy to play, but you may experience a few issues with using the right strumming techniques. Feel free to check out the lesson above – it’s all explained in there really thoroughly. Of course, White Iverson wasn’t primarily designed to be played on a acoustic guitar, but it’s still worth knowing how to play it.

9. Post Malone – Goodbyes

I’ve seen a few version of Goodbyes by Post Malone and they all required using a capo. I know that a lot of you don’t have it (at least not yet), so I found a guitar lesson that doesn’t require it. It’s one of the most famous songs by Post Malone and similarly as all the other ones on today’s list – it’s really easy to play. Playing barre chords may be challenging for you, but once you get to know how to play them smoothly, learning this tune from start to finish shouldn’t be a big deal.

10. Post Malone – Stay

Stay has to be one of my favorite songs by Post Malone. It may not be his easiest song, but it sounds just beautiful. It’s a little bit jazzy, because it includes a few seventh chords and a little riff in between. I think that overall it’s a fantastic song to learn, because it develops various different skills. Hence, I highly recommend taking the time to learn it from start to finish – I’m sure that you can do it!

Still struggling?

If you checked out all of the lessons above and you feel like it’s all too difficult for you, maybe it’s a sign that you should go back to the basics of guitar? I know how challenging it is at the start – your fingers hurt like hell and there are so many different chords to learn! Still, things get much easier in time. Remember that it’s all a marathon, not a sprint.
